Closing the Gap

Indigenous Australians are at a marked disadvantage compared to non-Indigenous Australians and the gap has not decreased over the past decade or more. The Closing the Gap strategy aims to reduce Indigenous disadvantage with respect to life expectancy, child mortality, access to early childhood education, educational achievement and employment outcomes.

Remote tours contributes to closing the gap by giving non-indigenous Australians (and non-Australians) the chance to learn from our Indigenous brothers and sisters about the most ancient culture in the world. Besides learning from them we also help them, becoming more self sufficient and interacting with students/volunteers, who give them a helping hand by doing community work.
